Wir haben gelernt, dass die Finnen freundlich sind, aber auch sehr zurückhaltend und etwas sonderbar, dass man die Finnische Sprache nur lernen kann, wenn man sie bereits als Baby hört, dass dich die ungewohnten Lichtverhältnisse ziemlich aus dem Rhythmus bringen können, dass es hier definitiv mehr Bäume als Menschen gibt und dass heiße Sauna-Abende den langen und grauen Winter erträglicher machen.
We have learned that the Finns are friendly, but also very shy and a little bit weird, that you can only learn the Finnish language if you have heard it already as a baby, that the extreme daylight changes can throw you out of your rhythm, that there are definitely more trees than people here in Finland and that hot sauna nights make the long and grey winter more bearable.

Wir fühlen uns wohl in unserem Zuhause in der Valtakatu 17, versuchen weiterhin das Beste zu machen aus unserem Finnland-Aufenthalt und sind gespannt, was das kommende Jahr an Überraschungen für uns bereit hält. Our apartment finally feels like home. We will continue to make the best out of our stay in Finland and are excited to see what surprises the coming year has in store.
